Richard Lee of Saison in San Francisco, USA, and Manu Buffara of Manu in Curitiba, Brazil, cook together in Mezcal for an ingredient-driven lunch shaped by their shared commitment to purity, seasonality, and craftsmanship. Richard’s refined Californian technique meets Manu’s ecologically rooted perspective.
The menu is paired with selections from Aperture Cellars, guided by Jesse Katz—Wine Enthusiast’s Winemaker of the Year 2025—whose expressive, cool-climate Sonoma wines add depth and harmony to the experience.

The ‘Grand Crus’ of Tequila & Chocolate
Reserva de la Familia is the highest expression of Mexico’s tequila legacy. Born as the Cuervo family’s private reserve, it was shared only on special occasions. In 1995, it was bottled for the first time to commemorate 200 years of history, becoming the world’s first Ultra-Premium Tequila and the first Extra Añejo tequila.
The Reserva de la Familia Private Collection is a limited series of tequilas crafted exclusively at La Rojeña Distillery in Tequila, Jalisco. The signature aging method in American and French oak barrels imparts the signature characteristics of Reserva de la Familia: smoothness and complexity; meanwhile, this edition’s unique cacao finish provides an extraordinary, natural chocolate character.
The tasting is paired with Valrhona’s Grand Cru chocolates, crafted in France from carefully sourced cacao selected for its terroir and aromatic clarity. Since 1922, Valrhona has been working alongside taste artisans to offer them the best of chocolate and much more.
Together, the tequila and chocolate create a focused exploration of oak, agave, and cacao—highlighting the natural dialogue between bittersweet, spice, and texture.

Set along the shoreline, this signature Arte Culinaria gathering brings together all participating chefs for an evening defined by live-fire cooking and Baja-inspired expression. Each chef hosts a dedicated station, preparing a singular dish over open flame, inviting guests to move at their own pace and experience a range of techniques, ingredients, and personal interpretations.
The evening is complemented by Licorería Limantour, No. 20 on the list of North America’s 50 Best Bars, alongside a thoughtfully curated selection of wines drawn from emerging regions— highlighting some of the most compelling discoveries from the global wine landscape.
